Alan JamiesonDirector
With over 30 years’ experience in the Material Handling Industry Alan has been responsible for the complete installation and site management of both large and small Material Handling Systems in the UK and Europe.
His attention to detail, and desire to supply the customer with a positive experience is legendary within the industry, and somewhat strangely for this era works on the ethos that the “the customer is always right”.
He brings to CAP Systems a wealth of knowledge and access to a Service and Installation team second to none in the industry, built over many years, and has a view on work that “if it is not 100% then it’s not finished”
Away from the “coal face” Alan likes nothing better than spending quality time with his wife and 3 children.
In addition he continues to dream of his beloved Newcastle United winning something….it could take a while !!
Barry MachinDirector
Having worked on both sides of the Material Handling Industry fence as both a Supplier and Purchaser Barry brings a unique industry view to CAP Systems.
With over 30 years’ experience in the Industry, in senior roles, in both Project Management and Sales he has the ability to follow a project from initial sales contact to final handover….and through to service and evolution…..
Having worked throughout Europe for 25 years Barry has recently returned from a 3 year spell in the USA where he further enhanced his industry knowledge.
Like his fellow director, Alan, he loves his football but as he supports Coventry City…….. Has no dreams of them ever winning anything.
Brian WilliamsonDesign And Solutions Associate
From goods receipt to despatch Brian is a very experienced Designer of Concept and Detailed Engineered Solutions for any Distribution Centre or Manufacturing facility.
He possesses excellent communication, and importantly, listening skills which enables him to quickly and accurately understand client’s thoughts and needs….and transfer those requirements into a viable CAD solutions and proposals.
In addition Brian’s ever expanding, breadth of industry and equipment knowledge enable him to select and apply the right equipment to provide cost effective proposals to suit any design brief and budget.
John SpittlehouseAssociate
With over 30 years’ experience in the Material Handling Industry John has been responsible for the development and sale of both large and small Material Handling Systems in the UK and Europe. In addition he has worked with distributors, OEM’s and racking manufacturers throughout Europe and the Middle East
He brings to CAP Systems a wealth of knowledge and experience in the unit load handling conveyor and flow storage systems market.
Tony HoodlessAssociate
Tony is a true Industry professional with over 35 years senior managerial, commercial, operational, people as well as shop floor hands-on project implementation experience.
He likes nothing more than sharing his extensive library of knowledge and experience with both new and potential clients and specialises in Continuous Improvement and Consultative roles…in 3 European languages!
Tony has worked extensively throughout Europe and is an in-valuable member of any Sales / Project team, a fact that is backed up by the number clients who work with him project, after project, after project….
To relax Tony takes long country walks …….and enjoys relaxing in the sun in Spain. In addition he pretends that he can play golf….
